Born on July 15, 1964, in McHenry, Illinois, Brzenk began armwrestling at 13, inspired by his father, who was also an avid armwrestler. His career took off in 1986 when he won the Over the Top tournament, earning him the nickname “The Perfect Storm” and a reputation as a formidable competitor. While he is semi-retired from the sport, he still is known to make comebacks and compete to this day. He is known for his ability to adapt to armwrestlers twice his size and overcome them with his toolbox of abilities.

His skills have granted him full-time access to the armwrestling halls of Valhalla.
