Aptly Named “The Georgian Hulk” Due To His Superhuman, Mutant Strength, Size, And Technique
Levan Saginashvili is 6′ 3″, 392lbs, and 35 years old. In summary, he is a god-like monster of armwrestling.
Certain sports out there attract a certain kind of athlete due to the nature of the sport—like how basketball players are tall because it brings them closer to the net. For armwrestling, the sport has quickly attracted powerlifters because the skills are translatable: Short bursts of outrageous power to win an armwrestling match.
The first time Levan Saginashvili laid eyes on an armwrestling table, he was 20 years old. The Georgian-born athlete wanted to play football (soccer), but had to take his feet off the pitch due to injuries and respiratory issues.

Too Big To Ball, But Perfect For Armwrestling
Levan notes that he grew at an astonishing rate. They call him the Georgian Hulk for a reason. And FYI, that is Georgia the country, not the state in the United States. It is a transcontinental European and West Asian country with a rich culture and history. It is also known to produce some of the world’s most baffling and inhuman strongmen.

Levan began to have health issues due to his astonishing size and growth rate. From 15-18 years old he grew at an exponential rate. It put pressure on his respiratory system and made playing football extremely hard for the professional athlete. He has been quoted saying he was, “suffocating” from his fast growth. He is 35 now but began his armwrestling career over 15 years ago, and he has never looked back.
A Humble Man With Big Wins
Devon Larratt, the Michael Jordan of the table, grew armwrestling as a sport, and he still is considered the all-around best of all time and a showman. However, Levan has cemented himself as the Lebron James of the table—his skills and strength are objectively better than Larratt’s (but no one can replace Larratt).
Levan is a multi-heavyweight world champion who is currently the #1 ranked armwrestler by a long shot. No one has come close. Since 2017, Levan has ranked first in all matches he has competed in professionally. He swept Devon Larratt, multiple times. Levan is the current King of the Table around the globe.
Levan’s Favorite Technique
From what I can tell, Levan employs the top roll armwrestling technique. According to most seasoned and experienced professionals, the top roll is known as a somewhat “broken” technique because if you have the strength to use it well, you will win almost every match. It is still well respected regardless of its effective nature.
Since Levan is the size of an F150 pickup truck, with the horsepower to match, he quickly uses this top roll technique within the first few seconds of every match. And then wins. Every. Time.
The Future Is Too Strong
Levan Saginashvili is like The Mountain of Armwrestling. He has mythical levels of strength, size, and heart. He is also solid, good-natured, humble, and very kind to fans and foes. Will anyone ever beat Levan? Honestly, probably not in our lifetime.
Unless a 6’8″ armwrestler who weighs more than 400lbs comes to the table, Levan will sit on the Iron throne of armwrestling as long as he lives and chooses to compete.
