Develop your ability to perform, hold, and maintain static holds using all three dimensions of your arm. What does this mean? Let’s break down the dimensions and the static movements required to make you successful at armwrestling and help you build massive arms.

Supinated Bicep Movements For Armwrestling
Supination is a form of pull movement performed for the biceps where the hands are facing the sky. Why is the movement important? This movement reinforces your hook technique. The best way to accomplish supinated strength for your biceps is strict curls and hanging at a 90-degree angle from your pull-up bar in the chin-up position.

Neutral Bicep Movements For Armwrestling
This hand positioning is great for armwrestling. Think of it like the position your hand is in when opening the door to the fridge. This movement is used for the hammer curl, and most importantly, pulling your opponent’s hand up and over to your chest. This type of curl does an incredible job of training your forearms. It is one of the strongest movements for your bicep, and it is wicked fun to train.

Pronated Bicep Movements For Armwrestling
Pronated grip and bicep strength are the kings of armwrestling. Have you ever seen someone’s arm flexed to show off their biceps, but their fist is pointed away from their body? That is the use of the pronated grip and flex. This movement builds a metric ton of strength in your forearm. Also known as ‘monkey grip’ or ‘reverse curl;” you are working your pronated bicep movements when the palm of your hand is facing the ground. The strength and endurance of your pronated movements allow you to perform the top roll, and get your opponent’s wrist flexed in an awkward position, so you can win the match!
