Dynamite Armwrestling Matches Return February 15th, 2025 For The Massive International Armwrestling Tournament
**(Scroll to the bottom of this page for match results)**
This year, East Vs. West 16 makes its debut on February 15th, 2025 marking another consortium of outstanding armwrestling bouts with electric matchups. This international armwrestling tournament is held at the The Green Park Pendik Hotel & Convention Center in Istanbul, Turkey (Türkiye).

What Is East Vs. West?
East Vs. West is the name of a massive, international armwrestling tournament that seeks to unite Eastern European armwrestling athletes against their (mostly) North American armwrestling counterparts.
During 2020 and the global pandemic, many sports, athletes, and fans were held at a standstill. East Vs. West filled the gap for its armwrestling niche by allowing a safe, competitive, and engaging tournament in Istanbul during a time when the world shutdown.
To this day, East Vs. West continues as a beacon of armwrestling competition, fun, and comraderie to show the world the best arms in the business through an incredible international, armwrestling tournament.
How Do I Watch East Vs. West 16?

Second Method for Watching East Vs. West 16:
Usually, there are armwrestling commentators on YouTube who livestream the event while commentating on it. This allows you to watch the stream for free. Please note that it can be difficult to find the right streamer for the event. It’s not easy to nail down the right YouTuber.
However, if you are a true armwrestling fan it’s highly recommended to pay for the stream to help support the growing armwrestling community and the growth of the sport.
Together, we can help to get armwrestling to the centerstage.
East Vs. West 16 Armwrestling Tournament Full Card: Initial Expectations and Now Updated With Final Results
Below is the full card for East Vs. West 16. Some matchups are too volatile and too unpredictable to call. However, I’ve tried to give my opinions and a small takeaway about who might win the bout (where applicable) and why:
Devon Larratt vs Genadi Kvikvinia
- Match Type: Right Arm Superheavyweight
- Who Wins: Devon Larratt will pull through on this one due to his combo of power, endurance, and technique. Yes, Genadi has a ton of power/strength, but Devon is siginificantly more technical and knows how to work an opponent.
- Confindence In Outcome: High
- Outcome: Devon Larratt won 4-1, no surprises here, Devon was the clear favorite.
Michael Todd vs Ermes Gasparini
- Match Type: Right Arm Superheavyweight
- Who Wins: Ermes Gasparini has shown outrageous growth in the armwrestling community and it’s expected for him to come out on top. He has grown in strength, sheer mass, and armwrestling technique. Michael Todd is somewhat of a one-dimensional armwrestling and has a ton of immense power—but Ermes has technique that will beat him.
- Confindence In Outcome: High
- Outcome: Ermes Gasparini won 3-0. Again, no surprises whatsoever. Michael Todd does not have the technique Ermes has in armwrestling.
Vitalii Laletin vs Artyom Morozov
- Match Type: Left Arm Superheavyweight World Title
- Who Wins: While Artyom Morozov is the Terminator and a Superheavyweight (SHW) title holder, Vitalii Laletin has devoted himself to training full time and Artyom is weak to experienced top rollers. I don’t see a scenario where Artyom wins. Vitalii is also a freak of nature and is absolutely massive. I am pretty sure Vitalii Laletin is turning into a hybrid, super-soldier experiment.
- Confindence In Outcome: High
- Outcome: Vitaly Laletin won 4-2. We all knew Vitaly Levin had surperior technique, strategy, and strength.
Irakli Zirakashvili vs Todd Hutchings
- Match Type: Right Arm 95kg (209lb) World Title
- Who Wins: Todd Hutchings is a slight favorite and has defeated this opponent before. However, this an incredibly close match and one to watch!
- Confindence In Outcome: Low
- Outcome: Todd Hutchings won 4-2. The slight favorite still has an abomination of a forearm that tears through competition.
Oleg Petrenko vs Betkili Oniani
- Match Type: Left Arm 95kg (209lb) World Title
- Who Wins: Oleg Petrenko is a highly dominant armwrestler at the moment and I think this is going to be a clean sweep of Betkili Oniani. With that said, Betkili is the underdog, but has amassed a ton of training and strength.
- Confindence In Outcome: High
- Outcome: Oleg Petrenko won 4-0. Petrenko has vastly improved over recent years. The outcome is no surprise whatsoever.
Daniel Procopciuc vs Oleg Zhokh
- Match Type: Left Arm 85kg (187lb) World Title
- Who Wins: Oleg Zhokh, The Ukrainian Mutant, has a birth defect on his left arm that has turned it into an X-Men level superpower. His technique and sheer strength will make him the bout winner against Daniel Procopciuc.
- Confindence In Outcome: High
- Outcome: Oleg Zhokh won 4-0. Zhokh is back and is in terrific form. He gave quite a fight to Devon Larratt back in the day. It’s no surprise he won here.
Fia Reisek vs Malin Bergström
- Match Type: Right Arm 70kg (154lb) World Title
- Who Wins: Fia has been significantly more active in training and competing. While Malin beat Fia in 2019, this match is leaning towards Fia being the decisive winner. Still, this match is too close to call and is more unpredictable.
- Confindence In Outcome: Low
- Outcome: Fia Reisek won 4-0. This makes sense considering her training and activity in armwrestling — Malin seemed ill-prepared for the bout.
Alex Kurdecha vs David Dadikyan
- Match Type: Left Arm Superheavyweight
- Who Wins: This is an exceptionally awesome matchup. Alex Kurdecha and David (Davit) Dadikyan both put up an exceptional fight against Artyom Morozov, only to be bested by The Terminator. While the community (and myself) wants Alex Kurdecha to win this card, it looks like David Dadikyan will come out on top. With David Dadikyan gaining his Superheavyweight (SHW) status and putting on mass/muscle, he is set to be a monstrous force against Alex Kurdecha.
- Confindence In Outcome: High
- Outcome: David Dadikyan won 3-0. No surprises here — while Kurdecha has insane strength, David Dadikyan is a mutant of strength and technique.
Brad Grundy vs Bacho Saginashvili
- Match Type: Right Arm 105kg (231lb)
- Who Wins: Bacho Saginashvili is Levan Saginashvili’s cousin making him a genetic-lineage favorite for the match. Bacho comes from the family of the armwrestling king. Bacho, driven by his bloodline’s raw power and superior armwrestling technique, will most likely defeat Brad Grunday.
- Confindence In Outcome: High
- Outcome: Bacho Saginashvili won 3-0. Of course the cousin of Levan comes out on top in this bout.
Frank Lamparelli vs Serhii Kalinichenko
- Match Type: Right Arm 115kg (253lb)
- Who Wins: This is another incredible bout to watch. Either Serhii Kalinichenko destroys Frank and sweeps him, or Frank showcases all the training/competing he has been doing and edges out a slight win. This matchup is way too close to call and has an uncertain outcome.
- Confindence In Outcome: Low
- Outcome: Serhii Kalinichenko won 3-0. This could have gone either way — no one is upset by the outcome.
Vasily Dautashvili vs Stoyan Golemanov
- Match Type: Right Arm 105kg (231lb)
- Who Wins: One of the final matchups of the East Vs. West 16 tournament, this bout is too close to call and unpredictable. Both are excellent, lesser-known armwrestlers who both stand a chance to win it here.
- Confindence In Outcome: Low
- Outcome: Stoyan Golemanov won 3-1. Both are lesser known armwrestlers and the result could’ve gone to either competitor.
